Our 10th Anniversary Show Set For Mega Showing As Pre-Registrations Rise 50%
Rare AMC Hornet Sportabout V8 Gucci Edition Joins Line-up
The 10th anniversary edition of our Classics on Show looks set for a mega turnout this Saturday (June 18) with exhibitor pre-registrations climbing 50% on last year’s record breaking showing.
Eleven dedicated classic vehicle clubs have signed up for this year’s celebratory edition. The line-up includes some extremely rare models including a 1925 Ford Model T – an original ‘Tin Lizzie’ and a 1973 Gucci edition AMC Hornet sportabout V8 believed to be the only one of the 5 litre, V engine models remaining out of only 200 made. Our dedicated motorcycle arena has, for the first time, attracted support from the non-profit Christian Motorcyclists Association.
There are high hopes for this year’s event following 2021’s record show which brought in revenue of £11,140 – more than double the £5,320 income from the inaugural 2012 event. To date the event has raised a combined total over its history of £54,907.
